Who sends the messages
Heyneman Company, a Delaware corporation doing business as Veto, is the consumer-facing sender of this program.

Veto is the sender shown in the message. Each transaction-related message identifies the participating escrow office and, when available, the initiating escrow officer. The participating office introduces the program and assists Veto with obtaining and recording the recipient’s consent.
The office decides. Veto records the review. Veto does not move funds, act as the escrow office, or tell a recipient to transfer funds based only on a message.
Safety rules
Never send funds based only on an SMS or RCS message.
Veto does not request or transmit bank account numbers, routing numbers, government-ID images, passwords, or changes to payment instructions inside the SMS or RCS message thread. When an escrow office asks a recipient to provide information, the recipient enters it only inside a secure Veto flow reached through a Veto Transaction Link.
A legitimate Veto Transaction Link uses tryveto.com or a subdomain ending in .tryveto.com. If a message is unexpected or anything looks wrong, do not continue. Contact the escrow office using a phone number or channel you already know is genuine.
Veto support cannot change wire instructions, account numbers, routing numbers, payees, or disbursement directions.
How a recipient opts in
During an active escrow transaction, a participating escrow representative introduces Veto’s SMS and RCS customer-care program to the buyer or seller in person or by phone. The representative makes this program page, the Privacy Policy, and the Terms of Service available, then reads this notice on Veto’s behalf:
“[Office Name] uses Veto to send secure customer-care messages about your active escrow file. By providing your mobile number, you agree to receive non-promotional SMS and RCS messages from Veto about this file. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. We do not share mobile opt-in information or consent with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes.”
Only after the recipient affirmatively agrees does the representative record the recipient’s mobile number, the date and time, the participating office, the representative who assisted, the consent method, and the version of the notice used.
Veto then sends this confirmation:
Veto for [Office Name]: You agreed to receive non-promotional customer-care SMS and RCS messages about your active escrow file. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.
RCS messages may fall back to SMS when RCS is unavailable on the recipient’s device or carrier.
Message types and frequency
- A secure Buyer Funding link for the escrow office’s current instruction.
- A secure Seller Proceeds link for information requested by the escrow office.
- A reminder while a requested response remains open.
- A notice that information was submitted or that the escrow office has the response.
- A support or program-compliance response, including HELP, STOP, and START.
Veto does not use this program for promotional or marketing messages. Message frequency varies by transaction and is typically a small number of messages per active escrow file. Message and data rates may apply.

RCS messages
When the recipient’s device and carrier support it, Veto may use RCS to display the verified Veto sender profile, richer office attribution, an office logo, a secure-review button, a support action, and delivery or read status.
For consenting buyers and sellers, RCS messages may include a secure Buyer Funding or Seller Proceeds review link, a status update, or a support action. Each message identifies the participating escrow office.
The Veto verification mark confirms that the messaging agent is Veto. It does not verify the underlying transaction, prove that an account is safe, or replace the escrow office’s decision. Each RCS message identifies the participating escrow office.
STOP, HELP, and START
The following keywords are not case sensitive.
STOP, QUIT, CANCEL, END, STOPALL, or UNSUBSCRIBE stops future Veto customer-care SMS and RCS messages. Veto replies:
Veto: You have opted out and will receive no more Veto SMS or RCS messages. Reply START to resume or HELP for help.
HELP requests program support. Veto replies:
Veto: For help, visit https://tryveto.com/sms/ or call +19498798386. Do not send bank account or routing numbers by message. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out.
START is supported only when a recipient who previously opted out chooses to resume messages. It is not the initial enrollment method. It is not the initial opt-in path. Veto replies:
Veto: You have opted back in to non-promotional customer-care SMS and RCS messages about your active escrow file. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.
Mobile information and consent
Veto does not sell mobile numbers, mobile opt-in information, or consent. Veto does not share that information with third parties or affiliates for promotional or marketing purposes.
Veto uses messaging-program data only to send the customer-care messages the recipient agreed to receive, process HELP, STOP, START, delivery, read, and action events, provide support, document consent and withdrawal, protect the program, and maintain the related transaction and Review Record as described in the Privacy Policy and any controlling customer agreement.
