Cookie and Local Storage Notice

Veto does not use advertising cookies. This page explains the limited browser storage used by our public website and the essential storage used when someone signs in or opens a transaction workflow.

Effective August 13, 2026

1. Public website

The public tryveto.com website uses Plausible for aggregate analytics. Veto’s Plausible setup does not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking. It counts page views and allowlisted events, such as starting a field-program form, without sending free-text form values or transaction content.

If you choose draft recovery on the field-program form, the page stores the draft in your browser’s sessionStorage for up to 24 hours. Veto does not receive the draft until you submit it. You can clear it by clearing site data in your browser.

2. Signed-in services and Transaction Links

Veto may use strictly necessary cookies or browser storage to:

  • keep an authorized user signed in;
  • protect sessions, prevent cross-site request forgery, and detect misuse;
  • remember a short-lived Transaction Link or possession challenge;
  • route traffic and preserve service reliability; and
  • remember a privacy or product setting that you choose.

These items are required for the requested service or security. They are not used for cross-context behavioral advertising.

3. Services you choose to open

A third-party tool may set its own cookie or browser storage after you choose to open it. Examples include Cal.com for scheduling, Persona for an enabled identity check, and Plaid for an enabled read-only bank connection. Those providers’ privacy notices and controls apply to their storage.

Veto does not load an identity or bank-connection flow merely because you visit the marketing site. The applicable workflow must be selected and opened.

5. Your controls

Most browsers let you delete or block cookies and site data. Blocking necessary storage may prevent sign-in, Transaction Links, identity checks, or other secured features from working. You can use the public marketing pages without opening optional third-party tools.

Veto does not respond differently to a legacy “Do Not Track” signal because we do not use cross-context behavioral advertising. Where legally required, we recognize Global Privacy Control as a request not to sell or share personal information; Veto does neither.
